I remember a similar incident when I was about 6 years old, but with dessert gooseberries, the pinky red ones ~ my grandparents had an old cottage in Northumberland and a HUGE gooseberry patch at the bottom of the garden, where I sneaked off one day for a "Fairy tea" of gooseberries ~ NOT a good idea! I hated gooseberries for ages after that, but I DO love them now.
This raspberry cobbler looks fabulous and I may have a go at it, as I have LOADS of raspberries at the moment, I pick about 200g A DAY!
Looks wonderful and so seasonal too.
KarenKaren S Boothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18024864830370677754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-38065422724565162162011-10-01T09:33:05.846+01:002011-10-01T09:33:05.846+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.Karen S Boothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18024864830370677754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-68833046464216054322011-10-01T08:16:37.204+01:002011-10-01T08:16:37.204+01:00Your story has made me laugh!
