Rick will handle much of breakfast but I will bring fruit salad and today I'm making your maple oatmeal muffins -- some to share with my neighbors who have Covid and some for us. I know this is a different Christmas for you but I also hope you find the merry. Your Christmas feast sounds lovely and cosy. Many European cultures do celebrate on Christmas Eve which is lovely I think. I hope you and Lars have a beautiful Christmas and that you enjoy your time with your family via Zoom or Facetime! I love breakfast casseroles and such, but picky hubby does not. We eat it with edam and some people also add thinly sliced ham. And we have sweet, warm saffron buns. That golden colour is a perfect to the inky darkness outside.

I hope that you and your family have a lovely Christmas. Thank you so much for your generosity in all that you share with us. I do hope that the coming year brings you some peace and happiness. Merry Christmas!
